Why Cotton instead of Linen?
More and more processed fabrics are being offered by the textile industry. Processed fabrics have a noticeable decreased ability to do what is necessary for mass linens - to absorb. The more processed a yarn (Linens, Cotton/Poly’s or Poly’s) the less they may absorb. Modern linens are highly processed so they are very strong, but many lack softness and absorbency.
