The core beliefs of the Church of the Nazarene are found in the Nazarene Manual's Articles of Faith. Grounded in Scriptural truth, our Articles of Faith form our doctrine. Doctrine is the language by which we communicate our faith and our beliefs, both to those within the church and those outside it. These articles also provide the essential glue that binds the church into a unified and cohesive whole. This collection of articles and reflection questions will help readers understand the uniqueness of our denomination within the body of Christ. At the end of each article are reflection questions that will aid leaders as they guide participants to consider and meditate on what they have read. Like the articles themselves, our 8-week study is intentionally brief. It is not intended to provide a comprehensive justification or defense of the articles. Rather, it will enrich your understanding of what it means to live out your discipleship as a Nazarene. It is intended to help us all have clearer vision of the implication of these articles, and how they find expression in our homes, our communities, our workplaces, and our churches.
