GOD'S WISDOM from BIBICAL WOMEN to AFRICAN-AMERICAN WOMEN is a religious book discussing women of all ages, cultures, nationalities, and generations who sought God's revelation through His Word, the Holy Bible. These women believed, trusted, and had continuous "faith" that the Lord will see them though any incurred diversity of life. This empowered faith offered words of wisdom and assistance for these women to trust and have confidence in God. It talks of "giants" these women faced daily and how to defeat them. These women include: Women of the Old Testament, the New Testament, African-American "Firsts," the "Yes, We Still Can" Women movement of the Obama Era, and more "Distinguished Women" of today who have made a difference in today's society. Reverend Elizabeth Pettiford McCoy is an associate pastor of Lawson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Roxboro, North Carolina, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a retired school counselor and Bible School teacher, but most of all she is a "Child of God." She is also a community leader with a "Masters in Divinity." She believes in education and assisting others to learn of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This book is her debut in publishing God's Word. It shows a powerful comparison in "Women of the Bible" and "Hard Working African-American Women" of the past and today. I thank God for given her the courage, vision and agility to write this book.
