Commentaries for the Common Man, the Book of James is the second in a series of commentaries. As with others, it is James himself commenting on his own book. It is not a seminary treatise, but written for the average Christian in order to bring him or her a greater understanding of the author, his times and Christian living. Rich Jensen became a Christian in his mid forties. A couple of decades later he was led to write weekly devotionals which later became the basis for his first book.....WOW Weekly - Words of Wisdom from God's Word. This was followed some years later by a book for new Christians giving them a kick start into their new faith called A Primer for the New Christian.
