The book explores how Guardini's anthropology, and particularly his teaching on polar oppositions, must be understood dynamically. The author not only analyzes Guardini's publication "Der Gegensatz" from 1925, but examines his entire oeuvre to elaborate and evaluate a model of the dynamic flow of human becoming that is applicable to cognitive, psychological, pedagogical, and relational phenomena.
