New Testament writings include more motifs and content from the fascinating world of mystery cults than was simultaneously possible in their Jewish context. This study meticulously traces the integration of these religious elements and unfolds the cross-cultural and theology-generating relevance of such inclusions in Paul, Mark, John, and Acts.
