When I was released from jail, it was a pure miracle from God. I knew this was another chance, and I was not going back this time. I vowed to be a good mother to my boys and my new baby on the way. Two days after being released from jail, I moved into Haven House at Downtown Women's Center. It was a starting point for my new life. It takes great courage to tell a personal story, especially when the tale is of addiction, hopelessness, bad choices, and eventually redemption, by the grace of God, through recovery. Everyone Is Redeemable is a daily devotional that shares inspiring personal stories of women in recovery, scripture readings, and reflective meditations that demonstrate God is always at work. In this daily devotional, broken women are provided a voice and platform to show the world they are worthy of being saved. Each month begins with a powerful story that details one woman's experiences with addiction and her journey to recovery, followed by daily scripture readings and reflective meditations. The history of Downtown Women's Center, founded by the late Sister Mary Virginia Clark, is evident throughout the collection, rich in spirituality and a reflection of God's continued saving grace for all who walk through the doors.
