PORTRAITS OF GRACE unveils the faithfulness of God in the most challenging and difficult times in life. His love pierces the depths of grief and pain. His mercy lifts those who have lost their way. His grace sustains us in the dark. He is our help. He is our hope. Each story herein reflects an essence of God's sustaining grace, even when our spiritual, mental and/or emotional states seem unable to comprehend our circumstances or imagine a path out of our darkness. May the reader find these true stories an encouragement. Janet Sherrard has lived in Shiawassee, County, Michigan most of her life. God called her to be a nurse soon after she became a Christian. God's grace and guidance throughout life's challenges equipped her to lead a community effort to start a non-profit hospice house in her rural community. God's long-suffering and deeds of loving-kindness extended to the lost and 'hopeless', which she experienced or observed, begged to be recorded. Therefore, to glorify God, to encourage strugglers, and to redefine hope for those with fading hope, PORTRAITS OF GRACE provides an album of present-day interventions God bestowed upon His beloved children.
