When it comes to suffering, many believers encounter feelings of disappointment and frustration. Suffering is often a struggle for every Christian. It is difficult to understand the why and the purpose of it. As people of God, we may think that suffering is a deep ocean of despair that we will never escape. Sometimes, you may raise questions like: Why illness, death, disability, pain, or sadness? Clinging to the idea that there is no hope.
This book is about the different types of suffering and how we can find hope in the midst of it. By finding hope in the midst of trials, the reader is helped to live in a godly way that honors God in their suffering. The chapters in this book will take the reader through different stories of the Bible and the author personal experiences with suffering to understand how God gives hope and guides you to rest in Him. The book encourages the reader to meditate on God's character so that their longing is not for this temporary life but for God, who is faithful.
My name is Kevin X. Cintrón. I am originally from Puerto Rico, where I spent many years serving in various churches, including Iglesia Bautista Sin Paredes, Iglesia Bautista Bereana, and Iglesia Bíblica De La Comunidad. Later, I moved to Tampa, Florida, where I married my wife and completed my Master's in Biblical Ministry at The Master's Seminary. I am actively involved in my community as a member of Covenant Life Church in Tampa, where I lead Bible studies and preach. I am married to my wife, Sarah, and we have a daughter.
I find great fulfillment in serving others and sharing the gospel. I love teaching and mentoring, especially guiding others on their faith journeys. I enjoy being deeply involved in ministry work and community service, whether it's leading Bible studies, participating in outreach programs, or going on mission trips.
My primary motivation is to strengthen and encourage others to love Jesus more, even when the path becomes difficult at times. I have always been inspired by the beauty of people being encouraged through others stories and counsel. I aim to help others grow their affection for their Savior, so they may desire and treasure Him above all things.
