Earthquake Eternity In Their Hearts is a collection of personal testimonies describing the experiences of the people in Nepal during the Gorkha Earthquake of 2015, as well as the "season of earthquakes" during the year following. The author, Nancy Mazon, interviewed people in that nation, choosing 36 representative testimonies. The people interviewed came from all walks of life: men, women, and children; young and old; rich and poor; professionals, working class, and the unemployed; single, married, divorced, and widowed; and Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Catholics, and unbelievers. Each shared their hearts and wanted their stories to be told. Personal descriptions included emotional, mental, physical, financial, and spiritual experiences resulting from the earthquakes. Additionally, the author has included many scriptures from the New King James Version of The Bible. The majority of these verses either describe earthquakes or have the word "earthquake" in the text. It is not a complete Bible study of every earthquake scripture. However, it does show the many references to earthquakes in God's Word. Many prophecies mention earthquakes to come. The power of God, the judgment of God, and the voice of God are all evident through the awesome act of God known as an earthquake. Primary themes of this book center on human response to earthquakes and the working of God's Spirit through this divine intervention. The author explores how individuals cry out to God during their time of desperation. Great tragedy produced much needed spiritual revelation and change in the lives of the people in Nepal. Truly, God has put "eternity in our hearts." Half of all profits from the sale of this book will go to evangelistic ministry in Nepal.
