At the Nile River we learn how, as a baby of slaves, Moses was found by Pharaoh's daughter and adopted.

In Session 2 titled Two Moments That Defined the Man, we follow Moses' exile from Egypt's royal household across the Sinai Desert to the Land of Midian, where he married and became a humble shepherd. We see him at the burning bush, where God called him to return to Egypt and free the Israelites from slavery.

In Session 4 titled The Ten Commandments, we trace the journey of the Israelites as they left Egypt and set out into the desert. We learn about their complaints and God's responses. Finally we arrive at St. Catherine's Monastery at the foot of Mount Sinai and hike up the mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments.

Session 5 titled Lessons from the Wilderness, describes the Israelites' years in the wilderness after leaving Egypt, including the feeding of the people, their complaints, and the building of the Tent of Meeting. The temples at Luxor and Karnak show how the structure of Egyptian temples was used as a model for the Tent of Meeting, culminating in the Holy of Holies.
